to my little home on the internet, so pull up a cozy chair and get ready to surf my photo intensive stitching pages!
Now a little about myself... I'm a proud Canadian that initially learnt how to cross stitch at the tender age of 13. I taught myself how to stitch from a tiny kit that Santa left for me in my stocking. Needless to say it was a disaster and promptly ended up in the garbage! My second attempt a profusion of flowers in a vase also never saw the ligt of day as I realized later on I had mixed up two of the colours when sorting, another one in the garbage. My third project a siamese cat and a vase of flowers was a stampped kit that I started but then was hidden in the dark recesses of my closet as I never got back to it. Now fast forward to 1997 after getting my first contract in my field as a Library Technician I found myself unemployed at the end, no work being available at that time. During those three long months of scouring for jobs I re-discovered cross stitching when I came across that poor siamese cat. After finishing him I was hooked! I haven't stopped stitching since!
Besides cross stitch my other passions are reading and I am a Second Dan Black Belt in Taekwon-Do, and teach.
Thanks for visiting!
